We are seeking a Sales Coordinator on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is onsite in Southampton, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cash drawer and follows established cash handling procedures
- Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
- Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised
- Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
- Actively engage in developing more effective customer service skills
- Provides honest and trustworthy advice to customers regarding the best products that fit the customers’ expectations
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of HVAC product knowledge
- 1-2 years of computer experience (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams, and inventory management systems)
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
- General math skills to allow for cash accounting
- An ability to learn
- Excellent decision making and communication skills
