We produce wedding expos around New England. We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join us and sell exhibitor space to professionals/wedding professionals/vendors who can benefit from targeting engaged couples on site during a wedding expo as well as selling sponsorships.
The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for generating leads, selling services to potential clients in the wedding industry, and negotiating sales contracts with clients. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, a deep understanding of the sales process, feels comfortable with cold outreach, and is a quick learner who can take base knowledge of the existing sales process and run with it.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, and social media, through contacting and qualifying all in-bound web leads, and through execution of marketing campaigns alongside our marketing team
- Effectively communicate the benefits of current offering to prospects and fully understand their needs before scheduling follow-up meetings
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of services and sponsorships offered, current wedding industry trends, and competition in the wedding expo network
- Achieve monthly quotas of sourced opportunities, and provide regular reports on achievements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Hospitality or related field
- Proven experience in sales and lead generation
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics, with the organization and capability to follow up to close deals
- Interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with clients
Additional Skills
- Familiar with 17hats is a plus
- Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual

- Flexible on hours worked, shooting for 4 hours daily but can come up with a schedule that works for both HEE and SDR.
