Job description

Lead Generation Manager

1099, Contractor

$30-40/hour


Core Responsibilities

  • Lead Research & Prospecting: Identify and qualify potential clients across our target industries. Build curated lists of decision-makers.
  • High Level of Emotional Intelligence: Be able to understand and assess the needs of potential leads with kindness and a strategic mindset.
  • Outreach Support: Draft/send personalized LinkedIn outreach, follow-ups, and light email campaigns (with CEO oversight).
  • Pipeline Management: Track and organize leads in Zoho CRM. Ensure prospects move smoothly through awareness → education → negotiation.
  • Call Prep: Pull quick prospect profiles so meetings are efficient and tailored.
  • Marketing Backup (10–20% of time): Occasionally help schedule LinkedIn posts, draft newsletter intros, or prep campaign contact lists.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Strong research and communication skills.
  • High level of sales acumen and emotional intelligence.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Zoho a plus).
  • Comfort in reaching out to new people and keeping conversations warm.
  • Interest/experience in science/tech industries is a bonus.
