Job description

Overview:
The Mom Project is excited to partner with a team who is seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Representative specializing in tenant representation to join our commercial real estate team. This role requires a motivated individual with a passion for sales and a knack for identifying and engaging potential
clients. Your primary responsibility will be cold calling companies to build
relationships, understand their needs, and position the business as the preferred choice for their real estate representation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Prospecting: Conduct daily cold calls to a targeted list of tenants to introduce our tenant representation services and uncover potential clients’ needs and challenges.
  • Relationship Building: Establish initial rapport with tenants, learn about their business requirements, and create long-term relationships to become their trusted real estate advisor.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Identify key decision-makers and gather information on tenants’ leasing terms, future office space needs, and satisfaction with current space.
  • Lead Qualification: Assess potential leads to qualify them as prospects for representation services based on criteria such as lease expiry, growth plans, and alignment with company offerings.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Set up meetings between qualified prospects and our tenant advisory team to further discuss our services and present tailored solutions.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update a CRM system with accurate records of calls, tenant information, follow-ups, and pipeline activity to ensure effective tracking and reporting.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to effectively position the business in a competitive landscape.
  • Not a requirement but would be a bonus if the person had previous CRE experience and understood the industry/landscape.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a sales, cold calling, or business development role, ideally in real estate, commercial leasing, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and persuasive skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and adapt messaging to different types of tenants.
  • Sales Mindset: Driven by targets and comfortable working in a fast- paced, performance-oriented environment with clear call and conversion metrics.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce/ReThink,
  • HubSpot) and MS Office. Ability to quickly learn new tools and manage a digital pipeline.
  • Self-Motivated: Strong initiative and goal orientation, with potential to grow within the commercial real estate industry.
  • Market Knowledge: Basic understanding of commercial real estate terms and tenant representation concepts (preferred but not required).
