Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Field Service Analyst on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA.
This position's primary role is to work closely with the larger Customer Service/Field Service Organization Center of Excellence and with the internal IT Salesforce Architect to develop and deploy new SFDC service-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Implement new functionality and enhance existing Salesforce.com capabilities by translating business requirements into effective solutions
- Support stakeholders including Field Service, Service Contracts, Technical Support, and Customer Support
- Partner with the Salesforce Center of Excellence to represent service-related projects and enhancements
- Collaborate with Salesforce architects to implement Service Cloud and Field Service functionality
- Interface daily with analysts, business users, super users, and IT teams to support operations and change management
- Configure Salesforce system changes to meet business requirements
- Ensure appropriate testing and documentation for all delivered solutions
- Lead cross-functional meetings for requirements gathering, project execution, and status updates
- Review and contribute to design documents, configuration documentation, and functional specifications
- Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing
- Support production processes and associated business systems
- Work with IT and business teams to optimize and streamline processes and technical solutions
- Drive change management activities and ensure schedule adherence through cross-functional collaboration
- Provide guidance to development teams during build phases to ensure business needs are met
- Conduct QA validations and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Train and support users on new or modified system configurations and related business process changes
- Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams, managers, and executives to deliver high-quality releases
- Act as a senior business analyst by mentoring team members, performing peer reviews, and recommending improvements
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience supporting Field Service and Customer Support business functions
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service Management, Case Management, or Call Center solutions
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceMax Asset360
- Strong business and customer-focused mindset
- Salesforce certifications such as Administrator or App Builder
- Experience supporting users in a medical device environment
- Experience integrating Salesforce with SAP
- Extensive hands-on experience configuring Salesforce features, including user management, roles, profiles, permission sets, custom objects, page layouts, fields, validations, workflows, email templates, Process Builder, Flows, Lightning Pages, Custom Metadata Types, Custom Settings, and managed packages
- Experience gathering requirements and creating detailed functional design specifications
- Experience supporting AppExchange packages
- Strong understanding of IT applications and technology
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration, negotiation, and influencing capabilities
