Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.


We are seeking a SAP ME/MII Developer on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid (2 days remote and 3 days onsite OR remote 2 weeks/month + 2 weeks 5 days onsite/month) in Sunnyvale, CA.

Responsibilities:
  • Consultant will be responsible for developing, configuring, providing support and maintenance for SAP Manufacturing Systems (SAP ME, MII, PCo)
  • SAP MII Backend Development: Be able to read or collect users requirements to create or maintain BLS transactions
  • SQL Query Development: SQL query development and database design to support business application development/maintenance
  • SAP UI5 Application Development: be able to develop and maintain SAP UI5 applications using MVC architecture
  • Plant Connectivity (PCo) Configuration: configure PCo to integrate with shop floor equipment using different protocols
  • SAP ME Configuration: configure SAP Manufacturing systems according to the project requirements and ensure optimal performance
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation of support processes, procedures, and issue resolutions
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with SAP experts and external consultants to implement system enhancements and upgrades
  • Adherence to Best Practices: Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and industry standards in manufacturing support


Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, SAP MII/SAP ME Configuration & Development, SQL Queries and SAPUI5 (expert)
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing, quality and plant maintenance processes and procedures
  • Understanding of SAP modules/systems such as PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), QM (Quality Management), PM (Plant Maintenance)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Flexible and adept at rapid learning
  • Experience debugging SAP UI5 or HTML5, XML, JavaScript, SQL queries
  • Experience working with SAP PP is a big plus
  • Knowledge of other SAP modules or related manufacturing software is a nice-to-have
  • Knowledge of integration points between SAP ME and SAP S/4 utilizing SAPMEINT
