Job description

We are seeking an Access Management Security Analyst on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote, CST or PST preferred.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a solid understanding of the broad aspects of information security and can apply that knowledge to solve problems at scale. This role requires a broad mix of business and technical acumen coupled with polished communication and a strong desire to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the security needs of internal/external stakeholders, regulators, and auditors
- Support IAM-related controls for various regulatory frameworks, including SOX, SOC2, FTC, PCI, and ISO27001
- Perform periodic review and testing of IAM security controls and safeguards
- Assist in the identification, implementation, and maintenance of automated technical security controls required by compliance frameworks
- Provide Tier 1 support for access compliance and other security programs
- Assist in daily operational activities related to policy, compliance, and risk management
- Understand the technical implementation of access management and security controls
- Communicate policies, procedures, and best practices to internal stakeholders regarding security and compliance requirements
- Support the development and modification of standards, policies, and guidelines
- Ensure seamless transition of project deliverables to support and operations teams
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in access management, data analysis, or information security
- Proficient in user provisioning and access management processes
- Strong understanding of information security concepts and their application at scale
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and organizational levels
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing multiple priorities and simultaneous projects
Preferred:
- Strong desire to learn and continually improve technical skills
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as SQL, PHP, Python, or web development
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GISO, GCIH, or CIPP
- Demonstrated interest in current and emerging technologies through job experience, training, or industry involvement
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in ambiguous or evolving environments
- Proactive and change-oriented mindset, with the ability to drive process improvements and manage challenges creatively
