They later branched out to other services, which is now a multinational professional services network with offices in over 150 countries and territories around the world. With more than 100,000 professionals, they provide audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory services to a broad cross-section of the largest corporations and governmental agencies.
We are seeking a Security Automation Specialist on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
This role reports to the Data Strategy Manager and provides support to stakeholders requesting information around the team’s different approval processes and assessing approval requests.
We are looking for a versatile professional to be a key player in our journey to identify areas of opportunity for security automations in Talent and to develop robust stakeholder support documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and analyze data security models across Talent systems; compile recommendations for automation opportunities.
- Build and execute technical specifications for automation recommendations in collaboration with the Data Strategy Manager.
- Provide process improvement recommendations to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Develop knowledge of data security management standards, including sensitive fields and field combinations.
- Create and maintain detailed toolkits, support materials, and documentation to help stakeholders understand data security and automation benefits.
- Implement routines to ensure documentation and materials remain accurate and up to date.
- Act as a subject matter resource, communicating complex security concepts clearly to stakeholders across varying levels.
- Function as a versatile team member supporting multiple areas of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum 3 years of related experience, or 2 years of applied experience managing and implementing data security models.
- Knowledge of Active Directory security groups and their role in data security.
- 2–3 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Word, Teams).
- Strong ability to balance detail with strategic, holistic thinking.
- Ability to analyze how security models impact downstream systems and processes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create compelling executive-level materials.
- Effective questioning and analytical skills to assess current-state models and processes.
- Self-starter who requires minimal guidance and can work in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in data security and automation concepts, with the ability to articulate their importance to stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to convey complex technical topics concisely.
- Experience in client- and team-focused settings with an agile, problem-solving mindset.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of data security applications in the professional services industry.
- 1–2 years of process improvement experience.
- Familiarity with lean data methodology.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
