Their core products include advanced firewalls and cloud-based offerings that extend those firewalls to cover other aspects of security. We are seeking a Security Coordinator on a contract basis to support our customer’s business needs. This role is onsite in Santa Clara, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the site guard force vendor relationship with a keen understanding of how to engage, incentivize, motivate and ensure compliance with SLAs with a strong focus on KPIs.
- Work with leadership to translate company culture, values, and strategies into practical application for safety and security.
- Be able to clearly evangelize key security principles and guidelines, as well as a continuously-evolving playbook of best practices
- Support the Global Safety and Security leadership team to drive forward various initiatives, act as project coordinator for high visibility initiatives across the organization as needed. This could be anything from developing an SOP, arranging meetings with key stakeholders, facilitating training, or project management of key initiatives that will drive standards and best represent the Global Safety and Security organization
- Be fully aware of initiatives across the Safety and Security organization and proactively identify symbiotic relationships with stakeholders, improve efficiencies, and streamline operations to remove redundancy in efforts
- Anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, keep others on track, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Interface with critical stakeholders when needed. It is imperative to be professional and to have a business enabler mindset to represent the organization positively
- Drive projects towards quality and timely execution with a clear focus on goals, KPIs, and project milestones
- Assist with the screening of monthly vendor invoices to ensure accurate billing for services rendered.
- Support various global security programs, policy and process development
- Collaborate with global management teams to ensure any HQ measures are effectively shared and duplicated as appropriate
- Coordinate team meetings across dierent time zones, manage meeting notes, and drive open items to resolution
Qualifications:
- BS/BA preferred
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Asana
- Ability to possess First Aid/CPR/ERT training for emergencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence with an ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds
- Strong critical thinking skills, able to assess problems and identify a variety of solutions
- Excellent leadership skills and a keen ability to lead through change
- Ability to present a professional image and effectively represent the organization
- Strong networking skills and willingness to collaborate across different teams and projects
- Understand and meet the evolving needs and expectations of vendor partners and avoid co-employment risks
- Highly collaborative, taking extreme ownership, and building trust with stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
