We are seeking a Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Program Manager on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.


The senior individual contributor role is crucial for providing second-line oversight of the organization's security risk management and compliance across diverse business units, regulatory landscapes, and governance forums



Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic risk initiatives and proactively identify and resolve complex, ambiguous security challenges
  • Establish and communicate a clear vision for security risk management across the organization
  • Influence high-level outcomes and champion innovation and best practices in security risk management
  • Operate within and support a unified Security GRC program aligned with enterprise security frameworks
  • Protect against top security risks while maturing core security capabilities at scale
  • Enable secure operational agility and support the organization in moving quickly without compromising security
  • Lead cross-functional security initiatives with significant autonomy
  • Collaborate with Security, Product, Engineering, Legal, and other stakeholders to shape overall security risk posture
  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and alignment with business objectives
  • Build and implement security controls and automation to enhance governance and risk management processes


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity and GRC standards
  • Experience designing and implementing security controls and automation solutions
  • Proven strategic leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Experience shaping enterprise-wide security programs
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Regulatory compliance expertise
  • Experience managing programs within large technology organizations
  • Strong internal networking and advocacy skills
