About the Job

As a Senior Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for executing and reviewing work on 5-10 clients whose missions range from improving healthcare access to combating climate change, allowing you to make a meaningful impact through your work. Your day-to-day will include mentoring more junior team members, executing month-end accounting responsibilities (journal entries, supporting schedules, reconciliations, review, supervision, etc.), AR and AP management, payroll processing and generating financial statement reports. You will also be involved with researching and applying technical accounting guidance, process improvements, financial analysis and problem-solving for your clients.


You’ll be the primary point of contact for your clients and viewed as an extension of their team. Internally, you will support and report directly to one of our accounting managers. Externally, you will report to your 5-10 clients. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, a deep sense of accountability and a passion for delivering excellent work.   • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience required
  • Public Accounting experience preferred
  • CPA or equivalent licensure preferred but not required.


Job Location:

This position is fully remote for candidates located more than 50 miles from Denver, Colorado. For those within 50 miles of Denver, it is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence two days per week. You must be based in the United States to be considered for this role.


Compensation:

  • $90,000 - $105,000 / year depending on experience
  • Ability to vest in profit sharing plan
