Their goal is to use the power of genetic engineering and advanced technologies to make medicines that address unmet medical needs, and help millions of people worldwide.


We are seeking a Senior Administrative Business Partner on a contract basis to support the dynamic and fast-paced Therapeutic Areas Squad within the Commercial organization. This role is critical to driving operational excellence and ensuring teams are positioned to achieve key business milestones. This role is hybrid in South San Francisco, CA.



Responsibilities:

  • Expertly manage complex calendars and shared drives using Google Suite
  • Navigate the IT systems (e.g., cSuite, collaboration tools) with ease
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of confidentiality
  • Plan and coordinate mid- to large-scale internal meetings and team offsites
  • Support logistics for meetings with external partners, including preparation and follow-up
  • Lead execution of internal events requiring virtual platforms and advanced tech setups
  • Contribute to meeting materials, agendas, note-taking, and follow-up actions
  • Draft communications on behalf of leaders and manage internal content platforms (gSites, Spaces, newsletters)
  • Oversee logistics of office moves and space planning in collaboration with admin leads
  • Support recruiting logistics, including candidate hosting, interview coordination, and onboarding
  • Plan and manage team-building events, workshops, and training coordination
  • Handle vendor and speaker engagements, including contracts and payments
  • Maintain department org charts and assist in special projects as needed
  • Functional Responsibilities
  • Provide direct administrative support to Senior Leadership
  • Coordinate key meetings and events (e.g., planning sessions, field meetings)
  • Support contracting processes and ensure timely agreement execution
  • Assist with planning and logistics for team offsites and network calls
  • Support the onboarding of new team members


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5-7 years of administrative, operations, or project management experience (pharma/biotech experience preferred)
  • Strong track record supporting senior leaders
  • Proactive, organized, and able to prioritize and execute tasks independently
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally
  • Trusted with confidential information and exercises sound judgment
  • Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and cSuite tools (GMail, GCal, GSheets, Trello, Zoom, etc.)
