Our Customer is seeking a Marketing Finance Systems Senior Analyst on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.


This role will partner closely with Marketing, FP&A, Finance Systems, and cross-functional business teams to drive planning, reporting, process improvement, and systems enablement initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with excellent systems capabilities and a proactive business partnership mindset.


This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and is passionate about improving finance processes through automation, data, and AI-enabled solutions.



Responsibilities:

  • Support Marketing Finance activities, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, variance analysis, and management reporting
  • Partner with FP&A and Marketing stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
  • Maintain and improve financial planning and reporting systems, including hierarchy management, data validation, and process controls
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency, scalability, and accuracy
  • Support system administration and user support for financial planning and reporting tools
  • Collaborate with Finance Systems and IT teams on system enhancements, testing, integrations, and issue resolution
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting packages, and executive presentations
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across planning and reporting processes
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve workflows, forecasting insights, and operational efficiency
  • Translate financial and systems insights into actionable business recommendations


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Finance Systems, or analytical roles
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and variance analysis
  • Strong systems aptitude with experience in financial planning and reporting platforms
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Oracle EPM, Hyperion Planning, or similar enterprise planning platforms preferred
  • Experience supporting Marketing Finance or business-facing finance teams preferred
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, automation technologies, or data analytics solutions preferred
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools preferred
  • Knowledge of SQL, enterprise data environments, or data management is a plus
