By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling their mission to grow and empower local economies.


We are seeking a Full Stack Developer (Python/FastAPI) on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Build tools and applications to support people strategy initiatives
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategies and align product outcomes to create exceptional user experiences
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Analysts, Data Engineers, and Application Engineers on cross-functional projects
  • Identify opportunities for improvement by leveraging technical and business knowledge
  • Support troubleshooting, configuration, testing, and deployment of applications to meet requirements and timelines
  • Train end-users and peers on new processes and functionality as needed


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline
  • 5+ years of industry experience in software development, ideally in HR-related applications
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in the FastAPI framework
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React.js
  • Experience with databases such as Postgres; strong SQL/PLSQL query writing and optimization skills
  • Solid foundation in computer science and engineering principles, including algorithms, data structures, programming, databases, design patterns, and virtualization
  • Experience building large-scale microservices and applications using cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Ability to analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, security, and stability of system resources
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across time zones
  • Outcomes-oriented, with the ability to evaluate measurable impact and iterate toward best solutions
  • Strong ownership mindset, eager to learn and improve work output
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments while managing multiple deadlines
