Job description

Our Customer is a technology company that connects people with the best of their neighborhoods across the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Germany. They enable local businesses to meet consumers’ needs of ease and convenience, and, in turn, generate new ways for people to earn, work, and live. By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling our mission to grow and empower local economies.

Our Customer is seeking a Senior Ads and Promotions Operations Associate on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.

This is a highly collaborative role that works across product, engineering, sales, and advertiser-facing teams to deliver high-impact operational solutions and support that drive long-term advertiser success. Responsibilities include designing and deploying internal tools that eliminate manual processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance scalability across the organization.

The role serves as a key stakeholder in bridging technical platform operations with commercial objectives, providing strategic guidance and troubleshooting expertise to support platform performance and advertiser outcomes. Success in this position requires strong cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate technical insights into actionable solutions that help brand partners achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to advocate for operational needs during new product launches and advertiser onboarding rollouts.
  • Lead end-to-end resolution of platform issues, managing technical investigations and stakeholder communications to ensure timely fixes.
  • Triage and troubleshoot complex campaign and platform issues using data analysis and internal diagnostic tools.
  • Identify efficiency gaps and build internal tools or automated workflows to streamline manual processes and improve productivity.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales teams and external advertiser inquiries related to campaign and platform issues.
  • Support campaign management activities, including campaign setup, quality assurance (QA), and ad content moderation.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience managing operations or strategic initiatives within high-growth environments.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple functions and stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to balance detailed issue investigation with broader strategic thinking.
  • Experience providing support in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong customer service and partner support orientation.
  • Experience using operational metrics to identify and advocate for improvements.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SQL experience

We offer a competitive salary range for this position. Most candidates who join our team are hired at the median of this range, ensuring fair and equitable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
