Our Customer is seeking a Marketing Analyst – SQL & Campaign Analytics on a contract basis to develop integrated promotional strategies that accelerate customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Responsibilities include owning end-to-end campaign execution, optimizing performance through structured testing and experimentation, and leveraging ongoing analysis of customer data to inform strategic decisions.


This position reports to the Manager, Consumer Promotions Strategy within the Consumer Retention Marketing organization. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop integrated promotional strategies to drive consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Identify consumer cohort trends and recommend lifecycle intervention opportunities
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to develop pricing and promotional strategies
  • Execute promotional campaigns and optimize through testing and experimentation
  • Analyze campaign performance to identify drivers of success and improvement opportunities
  • Iterate on test structures based on data-driven insights
  • Partner with Lifecycle Marketing, Campaign Operations, and Strategy & Operations teams to manage consumer promotions across multiple geographies
  • Support the development and refinement of the promotions playbook across the marketplace business
  • Collaborate with BI and Engineering teams to support ETL creation and ensure proper routing of dynamic events and CRM data
  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for cross-functional partners
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Retention, Product, Technology, Operations, Analytics, and Strategy teams

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, management consulting, business operations, growth marketing, marketing analytics, or business analytics
  • Strong experience analyzing large datasets and developing data-driven strategies
  • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to build forecasting models for marketing campaigns
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex functions and modeling
  • Experience translating analytical insights into actionable business recommendations
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience with CRM platforms, including ESPs, segmentation tools, and complex data systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and experimentation mindset
