This company is a fast-growing boutique full-service CPA firm located in Utah seeking an experienced senior audit associate. Their model is very different from the typical CPA firm. Work on your own schedule, 100% remotely from home anywhere in the country. No travel, very competitive compensation. None of the large firm headaches. They value your personal life, your relationships – if it’s important to you, it’s important to us. This role is allows you the flexibility to work at your pace. Ideally, work more during busy season Jan-May, then slow down for the summer, spend more time with family etc.
Your key responsibilities
You will manage/perform the entire client audit process from start to finish by:
· Delivering quality auditing services to clients and their stakeholders.
· Demonstrating a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations
· Collaborating to plan engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk.
· Performing field work, manage engagement economics and inform supervisors of the audit engagement status.
· Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with audit client personnel, assess audit clients' satisfaction and proactively maintain contact with the audit client throughout the year.

To qualify for the role you must have
· Active CPA license, or be on track to obtain CPA license.
· A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Masters degree highly preferred.
· At least 3-5 years of Assurance audit experience in a large regional or national Public Accounting Firm. (Candidates without this specific experience will not be considered).
