Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst, Learning Management System on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role will serve as the LMS application (SAP Success Factors) expert and will collaborate with leadership, IT, and key business stakeholders to plan for and implement enhancements and innovations in the learning experience for employees. This role will provide expert support on the requirements development, feature and functionality design and development, and maintenance of the enterprise learning management system. This role is 100% remote.
What You’ll do:
- Work with business stakeholders to capture needs and lead efforts to document business system requirements to implement new and enhance existing functionality
- Partner with business stakeholders and the Steering Committee to drive alignment and prioritization of business system requirements
- Collaborate with IT to translate business requirements into functional requirements and user stories converting them into effective solutions on SAP Success Factors and related applications
- Work with project teams to understand business needs and provide expert recommendations in the design of application solutions to solve business problems based on cross-functional impact analysis
- Evaluate design decision implications on business processes and ensure solution design on the LMS platform integrates well with related systems, coordinating changes accordingly with the Business and IT
- Perform configuration/system changes to meet business requirements as needed
- Lead UAT script development and partner with IT in the planning and execution of UAT and QA sessions
- Document WI, lead end-user training efforts, and support go-live, and post-go-live activities
- Research and recommend improvements for the learning experience based on industry best practices
- Drive projects and lead cross-functional meetings for requirements gatherings, project execution, and providing status updates
- Exercise independent judgment, creativity, and discretion in solving complex business problems and coach other team members with design leadership to achieve organizational goals
- Facilitate change management and coordinate training and adoption efforts in partnership with various stakeholders impacted by design decisions
Must Haves:
- 5-6 years of experience in supporting Learning organizations and/or business technology applications
- 3-5 years of direct experience with SAP Success Factors
- Experience working with validated systems and supporting users in a medical device company desirable
- Possess a strong business and customer/client focus
- Ability to interact and influence a variety of users and senior management
- Ability to work independently and manage projects independently
- Experience with a deep understanding of IT Applications and Technology
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Very strong collaboration, negotiation, and influence capability required
Education:
- Bachelor's or Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant discipline
Hours & Location:
- M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote.
