We are seeking a part-time Compliance Project Manager / Business Analyst on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote in MST/PST hours.
This role will drive strategic initiatives around business process improvement and optimization projects throughout the Legal & Compliance (L&C) organization. This role is a key part of the organization’s success, partnering with multiple teams on cross-functional projects, requiring substantial business knowledge, operational wisdom, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and proficiency in data analytics and process optimization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Compliance Operations and Strategy, you will continuously assess the internal compliance operating methods for potential improvement, including opportunities in artificial intelligence, automation, consolidation, and increased performance; collaborate to improve the compliance systems and tools; and work to standardize operations and system adoption across all compliance teams. You will assist the legal and compliance teams in working across the company to build compliance requirements, by design, into the daily operations. You will drive key legal and compliance initiatives to completion through close collaboration with business partners and compliance leaders. You will be a key advocate for the extraordinary culture of compliance.
Part-time, 20 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Drive operational efficiency across Compliance by owning initiatives around consolidation, standardization, and automation of processes, staffing, and methodologies.
- Assess and innovate operational tools and methods, including championing the adoption of AI and automation into Compliance workflows.
- Help identify and configure technology systems to enhance Compliance operations.
- Standardize procedures and documentation by developing uniform operational processes and compliance program materials.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Compliance Operations to identify friction points and implement scalable solutions.
- Support the rollout of a standardized policy and procedural documentation system across the organization.
- Design and manage communication workflows between Compliance, Legal, and related partner teams to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Partner with the L&C Business Intelligence team to build and maintain compliance dashboards.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external collaborators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 to 6 years of experience in compliance operations or strategic operations, ideally within Legal/Compliance environments.
- Strong Project Management background
- Experience in Airtable and SmartSheet is required
- Prior experience with a medium to large-sized tech firm (required)
- Asana and Auditboard (plus)
- Compliance with legal
- Demonstrated experience in project management, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven ability to analyze data and operational workflows to drive strategic business decisions.
- Strong background in implementing and managing compliance technology tools, dashboards, and reporting systems.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from planning to execution within defined SLAs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a high degree of self-motivation, especially in a remote work setting.
- Proficiency in managing both people and systems to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
