Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.

We are seeking a Senior Business System Analyst on a contract basis with expertise in Snowflake and Tableau to join our Customer's dynamic team. As a key member of the analytics and data engineering team, this role will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions that empower the organization to make data-driven decisions. What You’ll Do:

• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for architecture, design, and processes to enable the development team. Generate Source to target mapping document.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and manufacturing experts, to align solutions with business goals
• Data Modeling: Design and implement data models within Snowflake to support efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of manufacturing data.
• Tableau Development: Create and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.

Must Haves:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer with a focus on Snowflake and Tableau
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing data models in Snowflake
• Advanced skills in Tableau for dashboard development and report creation
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing data models in SAP
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization in both Snowflake and Tableau environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with other BI tools and data visualization platforms preferred

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Snowflake and Tableau Certifications preferred

Hours & Location:

• M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer’s San Francisco, CA office once it is determined to do so
