Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.


We are seeking a Varicent ICM Business Analyst on a contract basis to lead the design, administration, and optimization of enterprise sales compensation programs. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with Varicent Designer, advanced calculation logic, and complex enterprise data environments.


The ideal candidate will partner closely with Sales Operations, Finance, IT, and Data Engineering to translate intricate compensation requirements into scalable system solutions that support the company's rapid growth.



Candidates who are willing to relocate to Peachtree Corners, GA, will be considered for this role.



Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage end-to-end compensation cycles within Varicent
  • Configure and maintain compensation plans, crediting rules, rate tables, quotas, and hierarchies
  • Execute monthly and quarterly commission calculations and validate outputs
  • Design and configure calculation logic, variables, and workflows in Varicent Studio
  • Maintain data models and system configurations aligned with business requirements
  • Implement compensation plan changes, enhancements, and new incentive structures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve calculation errors and data issues
  • Perform data validation and quality checks using SQL and reporting tools
  • Develop dashboards and reports for Sales Leadership and Finance
  • Support audit requests and compliance requirements
  • Translate compensation requirements into system configurations
  • Optimize calculation performance and reporting efficiency
  • Document processes, system changes, and governance controls
  • Mentor junior analysts and support knowledge transfer


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on Varicent ICM experience, including Designer and Studio
  • Strong understanding of sales compensation plan architecture and structures
  • Experience with crediting rules, territory management, quota setting, and incentive mechanics
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, financial modeling, and reconciliation
  • Proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale, multi-region, multi-SKU environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy standards
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence both business and technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting audit processes and compliance initiatives
  • Experience mentoring or training junior team members
