We are seeking a Media Network Senior Campaign Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.


In this role, you will support the Media Network by developing vendor-facing deliverables, reporting, insight, and analyses to optimize ROAS and increase vendor funding. Your data and insights will be crucial in helping the company achieve its goals, particularly in growing the MN activities through increased marketing spend.


You will be primarily supporting the Media Network program to compile and analyze data and provide vendor-facing reporting based on their funded campaigns.


You will be building fact-based narratives using actionable insights that drive increased vendor funding for the Media Network. You should have a passion for understanding effective retail activations and should have the ability to translate data into performance trends and position the Account Leads to better support vendor goals.


You will conduct independent data work, including data extraction, visualization, reporting, insight development, and analysis for Media Network campaigns across various marketing channels. A significant part of your role will involve collaborating closely with the account leads, campaign planners, and the sales enablement team to develop campaign reports that will be delivered to vendors. You will develop a reporting narrative encompassing the full scope of the media buy and support it with in-depth reporting, insights, analysis, and recommendations. Your role will involve providing actionable insights to enhance Media Network tactics and improve overall vendor-funded campaign performance. Additionally, you will become the thought-leader on reporting, attribution methodology, and analytics within the Media Network team.


The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing reporting collateral and the underlying work that is needed. Ideally, in a retail media network environment. This candidate should full understanding of retail marketing and media channels and industry-wide vendor reporting best practices. Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools is essential. You should possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations. Strong communication and expert collaboration skills are required. The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously is also crucial.



Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of reporting deliverables and analytics, and attribution standards.
  • Create templates to be used as repeatable vendor deliverables.
  • Build specific reporting deliverables for both omnichannel, multi-channel campaigns, as well as individual stand-alone ones with actionable insights and perspectives
  • Partner with Media Network teams to maintain reporting standards for in-store elevations, paid social (Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest), paid search (Google PMAX, Search, and PLA), paid media (TTD, Programmatic, CTV), direct mail, sponsorship, local events, and training
  • Work directly with the Account team to understand and deliver vendor reporting needs
  • Work x-functionally to compile needed data and craft it into a vendor-facing narrative
  • Assist with developing a reporting talk-track based on campaign insights and data analysis
  • Perform ad hoc analytics related to Media Network activities as needed.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on MN reporting best practices


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a campaign analyst role
  • 5+ years of experience with Tableau, Power BI, Periscope, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience writing SQL
  • 3+ years of experience using statistical methods (R, Python, SAS, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of retail and digital marketing channels
  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze, report, and recommend strategies
  • Excellent follow-through and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated project management and sound judgment
  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative/marketing field or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience working for a Retail Media Network
  • 5+ years of analytics experience in marketing or with a B2C/agency
  • 5+ years of experience with web-based analytics tools (Adobe Analytics preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience creating client-facing deliverables
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Effective and diplomatic written/verbal communication
  • Ability to identify and act on opportunities
  • Ability to influence and lead change
