Our client helps seniors navigate the complex healthcare system so they can get healthier and live better. They are looking for driven, scrappy problem solvers to join the team as care navigators.
This role is unique. You’ll work directly with the founders, experienced entrepreneurs who previously scaled a healthcare consumer business to over $3.4B in value. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a startup from the ground up, with significant room to learn, grow, and make an impact as we expand. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving sales and building relationships with potential clients, and ultimately getting seniors better access to healthcare.
What You’ll Bring
You’ll work day-to-day with seniors struggling to navigate the complexities of the healthcare system. Your job responsibilities:
- Deeply understand clients’ needs
- Create plans to solve client’s toughest health-related challenges - including health literacy, transportation and food insecurity, understanding coverage benefits, navigating insurance authorization, and getting access to necessary specialists and other clinical care
- Work with clinicians, payers, social services, nonprofits and other community resources to solve patient’s problems
- Document your work and ensure compliance with Medicare requirements
- Build empathetic and trusting ongoing relationships with clients
Note: This role requires being on the phone and speaking to clients for part of the day. You may be asked to submit an audio recording as part of your application materials, if we determine that your background is a fit.

Who Are You
We are looking for team members who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors. Key qualifications:
- Warm and empathetic demeanor with patients and coworkers
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior citizens (+65)
- Scrappy, can-do attitude. Ability to solve ambiguous problems
- Fast learner
- Able to time and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and services for aging adults, or ability to learn quickly on the job
- Working knowledge of local, state, and national resources for seniors, or ability to learn quickly on the job
- Proficiency in Google Docs and Spreadsheets
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Education:
- Some education in a healthcare, social work, or related field
- Bachelors or advanced degree (RN, LCSW) in a healthcare related field a plus
- Some prior work experience as a care navigator, discharge coordinator, social worker, or other work with seniors or in a clinical setting a plus but not required
