Senior Client Accounting Associate
Senior Client Accounting Associate
Our Client - Accounting company
- Remote
Job description
The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, an accounting and tax firm, who is a mission to improve the public accounting experience; to create a firm so unique that ambitious professionals will be willing to wait to join us, then stay for a meaningful career.
They are seeking a Senior Client Accounting Associate to join their team!
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, or hourly equivalent, plus a variable compensation plan
Work Location: Remote
Their vision is to be known as the Michelin-Star restaurant of public accounting. Exceptional. Thoughtful. Worth the wait.
CAS Senior Associates are part of a team responsible for client accounting services. The job is a blend of transactional and financial preparation work depending on the complexity of the client’s accounting. Senior Associates manage Associates workload and review their work. They also support the CAS Manager by preparing monthly closing entries and the first draft of financial statements.
CAS Senior Associates know accounting requirements for both cash-based and accrual-based clients. They are able to efficiently complete the bookkeeping cycle from transaction to reconciliation and review the work of others performing the same processes. They are comfortable speaking with clients and are detail-oriented by nature.
CAS Senior Associates report directly to a CAS Manager. Together, they manage a book of business that can include up to 15 clients depending on the size of the assignment.
If you believe great accounting is about more than closing the books — it’s about producing reliable data that business owners can actually use — you may feel right at home here.
