Sr. Corporate and Transactional Attorney (Part Time, Remote)

NON-TYPICAL SENIOR CORPORATE AND TRANSACTIONAL ATTORNEY WANTED FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL LAW FIRM (FULLY REMOTE)

Are you one of the rare attorneys who is or wants to be an entrepreneur, is willing to take a risk, wants to learn and grow, is interested in building their practice and helping grow a firm -- potentially leading to partnership and, eventually, maybe even you being on of the lawyers taking over the firm?

Are you interesting in a part-time position to start OR Are you looking for full-time position and have a book of business (even if small), want to keep the far majority of that revenue, have all of the administrative, billing and accounting work handled for you and have the opportunity to make additional salary to supplement your current net revenue in exchange for assisting with the firm’s clients?

Do you have the experience and confidence to handle corporate work, M&A deals and important client relationships?

Are you an optimistic self-starter with a positive outlook who loves what you do and works well with others?

Are you looking for mentorship on how to grow and run a more successful practice?

We are a small firm based in NY and Denver (with a managing attorney who spends most of his time in L.A.) that handles sophisticated clients and transactions. We focus on working with entrepreneurial and larger companies across industries on their corporate, contractual and deal work and related needs and are one of the leading firms in the registered investment advisor (RIA) and break-away broker space.

Minimal travel may be required - For example, one full team in person retreat per year. Beyond that (and this is unlikely at least in the beginning) maybe there would be a conference or client meeting once in a blue moon.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law and located anywhere in the U.S as we have operated virtually for over 10 years.
• Min. 5 years of quality law firm and/or in-house legal department transactional experience.
• Confidence and experience independently running important aspects of M&A and other types of deals.
• Wealth management/RIA industry experience a big plus but not required.
• Excellent client relationship skills.
• Experience managing other attorneys and staff.
