Senior Designer – Concept Design (100% Remote)

Our Customer is an American worldwise clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 1969. Over the last 50 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with seven brands. Their clothes are availabile in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.

We are seeking a Senior Concept Designer on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct trend and market research across fashion, retail, culture, and competitive brands.
• Support the development of seasonal themes, trend concepts, key items, and trend reporting.
• Create mood boards, trend decks, and concept presentations that communicate seasonal direction and inspiration.
• Translate macro fashion and cultural trends into customer-relevant concepts aligned with brand direction.
• Support concept development and content creation across multiple seasons and product initiatives.
• Assist in seasonal storytelling and concept execution from research through presentation delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support concept alignment and creative direction.
• Manage multiple concept development projects and timelines simultaneously.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 10-15+ years of concept development or trend experience within the fashion industry.
• Strong aesthetic sense with a deep understanding of fashion trends, color, and concept development.
• Experience creating compelling mood boards, trend decks, and visual presentations.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Strong understanding of concept development from trend research through seasonal storytelling.
• Strong visual communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate macro trends into commercially relevant fashion concepts.
