Our Customer is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant on a contract basis to support the Chief Marketing Officer. This role is hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day remote/week) or flexible when the CMO is not in the office in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with C-level executives to manage administrative work and provide project management support for their leadership teams.
- Manage all aspects of the Org Leader's schedule, including extensive travel arrangements and strategic prioritization of commitments.
- Exercise exemplary judgment to determine and uphold the appropriate standards of excellence for all Executive Assistants.
- Identify opportunities to optimize executives’ time and take ownership of tasks that can be delegated.
- Provide a white-glove experience while coordinating complex travel and planning polished events for executives, teams, and guests.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives and external partners.
- Lead special, complex projects and initiatives, ensuring successful execution in alignment with the executive's vision.
- Efficiently manage and prioritize the executive's inbox, ensuring timely responses, categorizing emails based on urgency and importance, and flagging critical communications for immediate attention.
- Oversee daily “office of” operations in collaboration with other leaders, and perform administrative tasks such as managing daily and weekly focus areas, generating correspondence, maintaining files, planning and coordinating quarterly All Hands, weekly team meetings, and internal onsite/offsite events that the CMO and C&M leads to participate in.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in business administration or a similar field.
- 8+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintains a positive attitude and consistently exemplifies values of being Kind, Smart, and Creative, representing both the company and the executive with professionalism and warmth.

- Resilience to navigate competing priorities and constant change.
- Proficiency in G Suite, Slack, and Mac OS.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle challenging or high-stress situations and unexpected changes.
- Skilled at navigating complex stakeholder relationships with diplomacy and tact.
- Highly proactive and able to work efficiently with minimal direction.
- Advanced knowledge of Google enterprise products (Gmail, Calendar, Docs).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting VP+ leaders.
- Experience in a tech or high-growth environment.
