Senior Fashion Designer (San Francisco, CA)

Our Customer is an American worldwise clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 1969. Over the last 50 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with seven brands. Their clothes are availabile in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.

We are seeking a Senior Fashion Designer on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is on-site in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Create original concepts that encompass style, color, and fabric based on fashion trend interpretation
• Produce sketches and prepare seasonal presentations of proposed designs
• Analyze fashion trends to inform design direction
• Partner with sourcing and materials development teams
• Provide basic fit and body block information and attend fit sessions
• Support creative direction and deliver high-quality designs
• Manage tech packs using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Miro
• Conduct research, sketching, and development of print packages
• Collaborate with sourcing partners for innovative woven trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience
• Related experience in apparel design and trend development
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Miro
• Experience managing tech packs and print packages
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality designs for major fashion brands
