Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking an Senior FI/CO Analyst, Finance Applications on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.
Role Overview:
- The Sr. Analyst, Finance Applications is responsible for the development of information technology systems and solutions which enable the advancement of the Finance business area.
- The job requires the analyst to work closely with finance users in developing IT solutions and implementing them timely and cost effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Model, analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve business processes and applications in Finance including Record to Report Business Processes.
- Work with management to develop business requirements and long-term plans for the deployment of IT solutions for the Finance business area.
- Participate in projects, internal teams or taskforces as assigned by the Manager, Finance Applications and provide deep cross functional & financial design leadership to projects and other team members.
- Lead cross-functional meetings as part of requirements gathering, driving projects or providing status updates on various projects.
- Design, implement and support state of the art solutions for finance business processes using SAP S/4 or FI/CO and other tools / applications, such as SAP BPC, SAP RAR, etc, without adding unnecessary complexity to solutions or application landscape.
- Collaborate with Finance, Controlling, and IT teams to design and implement end-to-end reporting solutions within SAP.
- Document functional specifications, business process flows, and reporting requirements.
- Work closely with SAP technical teams on custom developments, interfaces, enhancements, and data integration.
- Participate in data validation, reconciliation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide production support or implement enhancements for existing financial applications ensuring responsiveness to customer requests and quality of work.
- Collaborate, coach and mentor business and applications teams located across the globe and in the various time zones.
- Assist the Manager, Finance Applications in documenting, implementing and adhering to standards, internal controls and processes for the Applications team (including Project Management Office standards and processes).
- Ensure internal controls are followed and report exceptions immediately.
- Remain at the forefront of industry practices and application development.
- The Sr. Analyst will work on business enhancements and implement applications / solutions / projects in all systems used by the Finance function. This includes but not limited to SAP S/4 FI/CO Modules, Fiori, SAP BPC, SAP RAR, High Radius, Bank Interfaces and Service Now.
Qualifications:
- AP S/4 HANA Finance, SAP FI/CO, SAP Fiori, SAP CDS Views, Finance reporting expertise, Stakeholder engagement, documentation, data analysis and reconciliation, testing and quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology (master’s degree preferred) with at least 5-10 years of experience designing, implementing and supporting business applications for Finance requirements.
- Ability to influence business teams in the design of system solutions to business problems.
- Experience and functional expertise with SAP Finance solutions is required.
- Strong project management and organization skills required to manage own work across multiple initiatives in parallel
- Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and related business processes
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA finance, including Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
- Experience implementing financial reporting regulatory reporting initiatives
- Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP reporting requirements
- Successful track record in working on cross-functional, cross-team projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.
