Job description

Our Customer is an American worldwide clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 1969. Over the last 50 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with seven brands. Their clothes are available in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.


We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer on a contract basis who excels at innovative, out-of-the-box thinking with comprehensive experience across all elements of graphic design for fashion retail. This senior designer will be working with the in-house creative team and possibly collaborating with external freelance creative talent.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in fashion retail graphic design across multiple channels (in-store, digital, social, print, packaging)
  • Exceptional portfolio showcasing innovative, boundary-pushing design work across various retail touchpoints
  • Advanced technical skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate business objectives into compelling visual solutions
  • Experience leading design projects across multiple channels
  • Ability to work within brand guidelines while bringing fresh perspectives and elevating the brand
  • Proven experience managing multiple high-priority projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate design concepts to stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinking and ability to see beyond immediate design needs
  • Deep understanding of fashion retail and how design influences customer behavior across touchpoints
  • Ability to identify efficiencies in the design process
  • Track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional partners (merchandising, marketing, store operations)
  • Knowledge of current design trends in fashion retail and ability to apply them appropriately
