Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Senior IT Recruiter on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.
The Senior IT Recruiter is a critical driver of growth and success, responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for complex technical positions across IT disciplines, including software engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. This role partners closely with leadership and HR to design and execute sourcing strategies, drive candidate engagement, and deliver high-quality hires in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with hiring managers to set expectations and align on staffing processes.
- Develop tailored sourcing strategies to generate strong candidate pipelines.
- Manage advertisements and job postings across appropriate media channels.
- Leverage multiple sourcing methods, including networking, social media, referrals, job fairs, and resume databases.
- Identify and engage passive candidates through creative outreach.
- Screen candidates for both technical and organizational fit.
- Drive the timely execution of the sourcing and screening process.
- Act as a candidate advocate, ensuring a positive experience throughout the process.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers, providing insights on staffing trends, challenges, and best practices.
- Partner with HR Business Partners to proactively assess future needs and design creative recruitment strategies.
- Provide HR and management with recruitment reporting and analysis.
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance, reporting, and resource analysis.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to refining recruitment processes.
- Collaborate with the sourcing team as needed to enhance candidate pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Labor Psychology, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of recruitment experience in competitive, fast-moving environments.
- Proven success in recruiting for IT roles, including software development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruitment platforms, and sourcing tools/methodologies.
- Expertise in leveraging social media, resume databases, and professional networks for sourcing.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to deliver actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships across HR and business leadership, including executives.
- Track record of managing high-volume, high-quality recruitment across multiple technical skill sets.
- Strong communication skills, work ethic, and a proactive, accountable approach.
- Ability to exercise judgment in selecting recruitment methods and techniques.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
