Job description
Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.
We are seeking a Global Franchise Senior Manager on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Burbank, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to long-range franchise marketing strategies using consumer and brand insights
- Partner with Franchise Strategy teams to align marketing programs with franchise strategy, audience targets, creative direction, and brand positioning
- Collaborate with Franchise Digital teams to execute marketing strategies across digital channels, including social media and YouTube
- Support enterprise marketing programs, including brand campaigns and franchise-specific activations
- Coordinate agency partners, including RFPs, onboarding, campaign execution, and delivery of marketing toolkits and assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute brand and franchise marketing initiatives
- Support large-scale franchise marketing campaigns and events
- Partner with Strategy and Portfolio teams to develop and measure campaign KPIs
- Develop marketing presentations to communicate franchise strategies, initiatives, and campaigns
- Participate in franchise governance to ensure brand and story consistency
- Support the development of brand guidelines and marketing frameworks
- Review and provide feedback on marketing materials to ensure alignment with brand standards
- Promote brand consistency and best practices across business units, partners, and regions
- Support additional franchise marketing initiatives and projects as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience working for a major entertainment studio or brand
- 8+ years of experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Experience developing franchise or brand marketing strategies
- Strong project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives
- Experience managing agency relationships and creative campaign execution
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate brand objectives into marketing initiatives
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to travel up to 5%
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Experience working for major entertainment studios or brands such as Disney, Sony, Paramount, or similar AAA entertainment organizations
