This position works remotely today, but our team will transition to a hybrid workforce from our office in Chicago by end of 2023. Chicagoland area applicants only, please!

The salary range for this position is $70-80,000.00, based on experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at one of the fastest growing female-owned public relations firms in Illinois. Morreale Communications is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to develop and drive a marketing strategy that elevates our profile to strengthen our brand and generate new business. Our ideal candidate is a Marketing expert who is detail-oriented with exceptional communication skills.

This position will oversee and mentor the marketing team to manage all internal and external brand content, including but not limited to our website, SharePoint, newsletters, email, press releases, videos, awards, social media channels, new business and pursuit proposals, earned media opportunities and other communication channels. They will work with leadership to identify opportunities for thought leadership pieces, panel discussions and strategic positioning with sponsorships and trade/industry events.

This person will work with company executives and the marketing team to develop and implement a marketing strategy. They will be the company’s brand champion, be on top of the latest marketing trends and will promote an understanding of how marketing helps to drive company growth.

This person will establish a marketing plan in conjunction with leadership to elevate the firm’s profile to support and promote key business lines including Health and Wellness, Energy and Utilities, Transportation, Infrastructure and Mobility and Public Affairs. This person will drive the marketing plan across the company to set measurable goals and ensure success.

In addition, this person will partner with the leadership team to identify new business opportunities that are a fit for Morreale’s unique capabilities as well as lead our internal Request for Proposal (RFP) response process. They will identify important nuances and unique details for each pitch and collaborate to decide presentation formatting as well as the key internal players to attend.

Position Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in business marketing, communications, and public relations.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public relations, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of successfully bringing them from conception to completion
  • Super collaborator that is detail oriented and a natural leader
  • Excellent communicator who is able to work with a range of personalities at all levels of an organization
