What the Role Is

Senior Manager of Revenue Planning & Strategy is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving revenue performance, optimizing sales processes, and shaping pricing and packaging strategies across Our Client's media business. With deep expertise in the ad ecosystem, this role manages end-to-end sales operations, oversees major ad-tech platform transitions, and develops the financial and analytical frameworks that support a rapidly scaling media organization.


This Role:

This role partners closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Ad Operations to ensure the systems, processes, and pricing infrastructure are built for efficiency, accuracy, and growth. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical acumen, program management excellence, proven leadership experience, and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have managed a large scale integration or go to market tech stack, ideally with experience onboarding a CRM or Ad server. In this role you will be responsible for onboarding a new Ad server, functioning as the PM for the onboarding process and helping to manage all communication.


Who You Are

  • 8 + years of experience i n sales or revenue operations within a high-growth media company, publisher, or platforms
  • Deep experience in the ad industry with knowledge of the broader media ecosystem, with prior experience in building processes, tools, benchmarks and the right data t o manage a growing media business
  • Experience working with non-programmatic/non-banner media products, including newsletters, events, social, custom content, and native placements
  • Strong analytical skills with ability t o derive actionable insights from complex data sets
  • Adept and knowledgeable in manipulating large data sets within excel (i.e pivot tables, pivot charts, dashboards, interactive charts, Lookup and sumifs functions, macros, etc
  • Experience with OMS systems (i.e Boost or Netsuite) and proficiency in sales analytics tools
  • Strong project management experience, with an ability t o evaluate and re-prioritize rapidly and deliver results against aggressive deadlines.
  • Commitment to strengthening the sales operational processes with knowledge, creativity and empathy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a variety o f audiences
  • Self-motivated and able t o work autonomously & collaboratively to find direction in ambiguity and complexity, both independently and alongside finance, accounting and people operations
  • Strong program management skills with proven success leading org-wide operational changes.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Optimize end-to-end sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, OMS governance (Boostr/Netsuite), and annual planning.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting for revenue, pipeline, margin, sell-through, and headcount planning.
  • Ensure accurate, timely reporting across Partnerships functions and support revenue analysis for strategic decision-making.
  • Provide approval oversight for non-standard deals, balancing profitability, customer needs, and business goals.
  • Oversee creation and maintaining o f documentation, training materials, and reference guides for sales systems and processes.
  • Own the strategic and financial framework for pricing, packaging, and rate card development across onsite and offsite media products.
  • Benchmark competitive pricing and margin performance to inform quarterly updates and long-term strategy.
  • Analyze sell-through, yield, pacing, and margin data t o optimize pricing and packaging and improve inventory efficiency.
  • Partner with Sales t o craft new media packages and support new category expansion (Baby, CPG, Health).
  • Manage rate card mapping and execution within Boostr and ensure cross-functional alignment on product definitions and guardrails.
  • Lead annual planning and quarterly forecasting in partnership with Finance and GTM leadership.
  • Build and maintain accurate revenue, pipeline, sell-through, and margin models.
  • Use ad server yield insights to update pricing and inventory availability and guide sales toward high-value opportunities.
  • Oversee inventory management for distribution tactics and 2026 campaigns, addressing risks proactively.
  • Serve as the primary owner and administrator for the Koddi implementation, including configuration, permissions, integrations, and vendor management.
  • Build and manage the Koddi project plan in collaboration with Product, Engineering, Data, and AdOps.
  • Document workflows, validate data flows, and troubleshoot discrepancies across Koddi and Boostr.
  • Analyze early Koddi-generated insights to drive immediate operational improvements and support long-term platform enhancements.
  • Transition from hands-on implementation t o strategic oversight once the platform is fully operational.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and sales productivity.
  • Maintain RACI documentation and ensure clarity o f ownership across Partnerships, AdOps, RevOps, and technical teams.
