We are seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is on-site in Urbandale, IA.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage moderately complex projects or components of larger projects from start to finish to deliver business outcomes on time, within budget, and with high client satisfaction
  • Establish and manage project governance structures and oversee project stakeholders and team members to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage project tasks, workloads, and deadlines
  • Ensure a comprehensive scope document is established at project initiation and review scope throughout the project lifecycle, recommending changes as needed
  • Manage project risks and issues and ensure lessons learned are shared and implemented
  • Coordinate with internal teams to secure specialized resources and project contributions
  • Provide accurate and timely cost estimates for project work and regularly report on project fees
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, third-party providers, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Provide technical support and input on project proposals of average to high complexity
  • Partner with HR organizations to support the creation and distribution of employee benefit marketing materials
  • Collaborate with clients and consultants to communicate open enrollment initiatives
  • Support the development of open enrollment benefit guides, postcards, posters, and presentations


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong project management experience handling moderately complex projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and scope
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting mid-market communications teams
  • Experience creating employee benefit marketing materials
  • Experience supporting open enrollment communications initiatives
