Job description

Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.


We are seeking a contract Sr. Media Analyst to assist in the development of media campaigns and prepare and monitor budgets for all films. The Senior Media Analyst may also perform special assignments and related tasks as needed. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Burbank, CA.



Responsibilities:

  • Assist Global Media Managers with execution and oversight of media plans
  • Monitor media expenditures and maintain weekly budget updates
  • Provide Finance teams with weekly spending and budget reports
  • Coordinate with agencies and internal departments on media plans and recommendations across channels, including Out-of-Home, Cable, Spanish Language, Canada, Digital, and Radio
  • Support execution and delivery of creative assets by coordinating timelines, specs, and launches with Creative, Digital, and Agency teams
  • Create and maintain campaign decks and presentations for management and filmmakers
  • Conduct competitive research and support special film projects
  • Brainstorm and support innovative marketing stunts and campaign activations for film releases
  • Attend internal meetings and provide updates representing media team initiatives
  • Communicate media deadlines and campaign flighting details to internal departments on a weekly basis

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, or related field preferred
  • Approximately 2+ years of advertising and media experience required, with at least 1 year being directly related to the Motion Picture / Entertainment / Streaming industry
  • Experience working in a fast-paced entertainment, studio, or media agency environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience building presentations and decks using PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and budgeting skills
  • Ability to analyze and compare different types of media advertising
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute innovative ideas
  • Experience managing budgets and tracking expenditures
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines effectively
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve under pressure
  • Flexibility to work extended hours or overtime when needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Integrated media planning experience across linear and digital channels is a plus
