What you’ll do:

The Mom Project is hiring a Senior Partner, Social Media and PR to manage and execute our social media and PR strategy. The chosen candidate will be responsible for collaborating with marketing colleagues to produce and deliver engaging content across top social platforms and overseeing the relationship with our PR agency partner. 

  • Own and execute The Mom Project’s social media and PR strategy.

  • Create quarterly, monthly, and project-based social media plans with clear objectives to ensure a consistent cadence for connecting with core audiences.

  • Identify opportunities to expand our existing exposure and impact via social and brand marketing trend awareness and customer insight data.

  • Create social media copy based on creative and brand strategy and audience insights; manage all social media postings.

  • Work with the brand team to ensure the brand’s overall look, feel, and objectives are reflected in social media and PR initiatives.

  • Create relevant and engaging content for social channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

  • Engage with followers and ensure an active online community.

  • Work with the brand and creative teams to develop targeted and consistent messaging.

  • Support the evolution of our online community.

  • Establish and track KPIs to measure and analyze social performance and ROI, and implement changes as necessary to drive growth.

  • Drive the relationship with TMP’s PR agency, ensuring alignment of strategy and messaging and effective use of resources and budget for business press and national media.

What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of experience in devising and executing social media strategy. Bonus if you have experience in both B2B and B2C targeting.

  • Proven success in growing organic social media followers through creative outreach and engaging content.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to take on different brand tones and styles based on target audience. 

  • Superior attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality, creative work.

  • Proficient in reviewing and analyzing data to identify key insights and applying those insights to social media strategy and initiatives. 

  • A strong understanding of popular social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) and how to effectively measure performance on those channels. 

  • Proficient in social media management and measurement tools, including SproutSocial, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, native platforms, ad managers, etc.

  • Familiarity with the digital media landscape outside of social media (paid search, SEO, etc.).

  • Flexible working hours to deliver timely response management and participation in brand events.

  • Strategic mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do the tactical work. 

  • Excellent copywriting skills and a knack for storytelling.

  • Solid project management skills.

  • Ability to manage the pressures of a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
