The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a financial technology leader and bank holding company with a mission to power the banking industry’s branchless future.
Our Customer is seeking a contract Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager (Performance Marketing) to drive and scale their multi-channel acquisition strategy, spanning SEM, Paid Social, Affiliate, and App marketing. This role is ideal for a well-rounded performance marketing generalist who has hands-on experience across channels, with particular depth in affiliate marketing.
You will own performance across channels balancing strategy, execution, and optimization while ensuring efficient growth across key metrics such as CAC, LTV, and ROAS. The ideal candidate brings a strong testing mindset, analytical rigor, and cross-channel fluency, with the ability to identify how each channel (including affiliate) contributes to overall growth.
This role reports to the VP of Direct-to-Consumer and plays a key role in driving scalable, efficient customer acquisition and revenue growth.
This role is 100% remote - PST preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Own and scale multi-channel performance marketing across SEM, paid social, affiliate, and app channels
- Lead strategy and execution across platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Apple Search Ads, and social channels
- Manage and optimize large monthly acquisition budgets to drive performance and efficiency
- Drive key performance metrics including CAC, LTV, ROAS, volume, and overall efficiency
- Build, grow, and optimize the affiliate channel as a core acquisition lever
- Manage affiliate partners, networks, and performance optimization initiatives
- Identify and scale partnership opportunities to improve incrementality and ROI
- Ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and compliance across affiliate programs
- Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across search, social, and affiliate platforms
- Continuously test audiences, creatives, bidding strategies, and landing pages to improve performance
- Manage budget allocation, pacing, and forecasting across multiple channels
- Analyze cross-channel performance using analytics tools and attribution models
- Generate insights to inform budget allocation and overall growth strategy
- Build and present performance reports, forecasts, and insights to stakeholders
- Leverage automation and AI-driven tools to improve campaign efficiency and scalability
- Test and implement new approaches to targeting, creative optimization, and performance analysis
- Stay current on paid media trends, affiliate ecosystems, app marketing, and platform updates
- Monitor changes in privacy regulations and attribution models to adapt strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with product, lifecycle, creative, analytics, and compliance teams to align on business goals
- Communicate performance insights and strategic recommendations to leadership
Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in performance marketing with hands-on ownership across multiple acquisition channels
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree or advanced education preferred
- Strong, hands-on experience building, managing, and scaling affiliate marketing programs (networks, partner recruitment, optimization, incrementality)
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or technology-driven businesses
- Experience in app marketing, including mobile acquisition and Apple Search Ads optimization
- Familiarity with privacy regulations, compliance considerations, and evolving attribution frameworks in regulated industries
- Proven ability to manage and optimize large-scale acquisition budgets (six- to seven-figure monthly spend)
- Hands-on experience with SEM platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Apple Search Ads
- Experience managing paid social channels such as Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, or similar
- Demonstrated ability to drive and optimize key performance metrics including CAC, LTV, ROAS, and overall acquisition efficiency
- Strong understanding of attribution models, incrementality, and cross-channel performance measurement
- Experience operating in startup or high-growth environments, with the ability to build and scale programs from the ground up
- Analytical, data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Experience leveraging automation and AI tools to improve campaign performance and scalability
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with PST time zone overlap
