Senior Presentation / Visual Designer (Hybrid - Greenwich Village)

Our Customer is an American financial services mutual organization based in Milwaukee. The financial security company provides consultation on wealth and asset income protection, education planning, retirement planning, investment advisory services, financial planning trust and private client services, estate planning and business planning. Its products include life insurance, permanent life insurance, disability income, and long-term care insurance; annuities; investments; and investment advisory products and services.

Our customer is looking for a Senior Visual Designer on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is hybrid in NYC (Greenwich Village).

The Senior Presentation / Visual Designer is responsible for creating compelling, executive-level presentations that communicate complex ideas through clear, engaging visual storytelling. This role partners with business leaders and cross-functional teams to develop high-impact presentations for leadership, sales, marketing, and events. While presentation design is the primary focus, experience across broader design disciplines such as web, digital, print, and social media is a valuable asset.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations for executive, and field-facing audiences.
• Translate complex content into clear visual narratives, infographics, and data visualizations.
• Consult with stakeholders to understand objectives and recommend effective presentation strategies.
• Ensure brand consistency, visual excellence, and attention to detail across all deliverables.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Contribute to design projects beyond presentations, including digital, print, and social media assets, as business needs require.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional design experience with a strong emphasis on presentation design.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills and expertise in visual storytelling.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, information hierarchy, and brand application.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating web, digital, print, and social media design assets.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
• Experience with motion graphics, animation, or multimedia content.
• Creative concept development and ideation skills.
