Job description

The Mom Project is excited to support Etsy with their search for a Senior Producer, Paid Social Content, to join their team on a contract basis.

About the Role

Etsy is seeking a Senior Producer to build bold, audience-first social content that brings the brand to life in meaningful ways. In this role, you’ll drive creative development of paid social content across multiple platforms and global markets, blending data, storytelling, and cultural insight to craft content that resonates. Reporting to the Director of Advertising & Influencer Creative, you’ll bring creative instincts and platform fluency to deliver compelling video assets that perform. You'll help unlock what connects with buyer audiences—optimizing content to move the needle at every stage of the funnel. You’ll work closely with Brand Media, Brand Strategy, and our in-house Content Studio to deliver creative that’s both engaging and effective.

The ideal candidate is both a creative strategist and executional pro, with deep paid social expertise, production experience, and a proven track record of delivering content that drives impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end creative development of paid social video assets tailored to specific platforms and audiences
  • Develop creative strategies and content formats that align with full-funnel marketing objectives and platform best practices
  • Supervise and mentor freelancers, including designers and copywriters
  • Review creative pitches and deliverables - from concepting to post-production, offering clear and actionable feedback while upholding high creative standards
  • Manage platform-specific programming calendars to ensure we’re meeting strategic objectives and consistently delivering on campaign deadlines
  • Partner with Brand Strategy, Merchandising, and performance media leads to understand campaign objectives and translate them into compelling creative strategies
  • Continuously test and iterate on creative approaches and formats to improve performance
  • Surface new creative tactics and opportunities, informed by cultural and platform trends and competitive insights

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience producing digital and social media content, with a strong understanding of paid social advertising. Prior experience at a creative or media agency is preferred
  • Deep knowledge of the social media landscape: you’re immersed in social content trends with a pulse on cultural conversations
  • A consistent track record of managing creative development for social advertising campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Experience managing freelance creative talent
  • Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices and paid formats, particularly for TikTok and YouTube
  • Fluency in paid measurement and familiarity with creative testing methodologies
  • Ability to balance creative vision and storytelling with performance marketing objectives
  • Exceptional time management and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Clear communication - you enjoy collaborating cross-functionally and building strong working relationships with peers and partners
  • A passion for supporting small businesses, creativity, and craftsmanship

Hours and Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week
  • This hybrid role must be within commuting distance to the Brooklyn headquarters and available to work in-office as needed (typically 2x per week).

We offer a competitive salary range for this position. Most candidates who join our team are hired at the median of this range, ensuring fair and equitable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
