This role places a strong emphasis on UI design excellence, usability validation, inclusive design informed by accessibility standards, and working within robust design systems. You bring a structured, detail-oriented approach to your work, maintaining organized files, clear documentation, and consistent design artifacts, while following established team processes and offering thoughtful feedback to improve them.

- Participate in design sprints, envisioning sessions, and workshops to explore problem spaces and align on outcomes
- Synthesize research findings, usability insights, behavioral data, and operational inputs into a clear design direction
- Apply qualitative and quantitative data to inform, validate, and refine design decisions across the product lifecycle
- Advocate for human-centered and inclusive design practices aligned with accessibility standards
- Communicate design rationale and vision through clear artifacts, narratives, and presentations
- Deliver high-quality UI designs with strong visual hierarchy, interaction clarity, and attention to detail across web and native mobile platforms
- Apply and contribute to established design systems for web and native mobile experiences
- Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement within design system components and patterns
- Plan, conduct, and synthesize usability testing to validate flows, components, and interactions
- Create prototypes at appropriate fidelity to explore, test, and communicate design solutions
- Design responsive, mobile-first web experiences and native mobile applications
- Apply accessibility standards and plain-language principles to improve clarity and comprehension
- Use AI-assisted tools to support ideation, prototyping, and iteration where appropriate
- Maintain organized and well-documented design files and artifacts
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders throughout delivery
- Participate in standups, sprint planning, design reviews, critiques, and quality assurance cycles
- Translate design decisions into clear, implementation-ready specifications and annotations
- Present design concepts, insights, and solutions effectively in synchronous and asynchronous settings
Skills and Qualifications:
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant product or service design work
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
- 3–7 years of experience in product or service design
- Strong product design mindset with experience designing complex, content-rich websites and applications
- Proficiency in creating design artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
- Strong foundation in design thinking and human-centered design methodologies
- Extensive experience working within web and native mobile design systems
- Experience planning and conducting usability testing and incorporating findings into design iterations
- Strong understanding of responsive design, inclusive design principles, and accessibility standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and discuss technical constraints
- Familiarity with front-end technologies preferred
