Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Sr Program Manager - GTM & Enterprise Transformation on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex cross-functional programs from initiation through execution and closure.
- Define program scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and success metrics aligned with organizational goals.
- Partner with executive leadership, business stakeholders, engineering, finance, operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment.
- Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, reporting cadences, and communication plans.
- Drive program planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and change management initiatives.
- Monitor program performance, track KPIs, and provide executive-level reporting and status updates.
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams while aligning priorities with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate stakeholder decision-making and proactively remove execution roadblocks.
- Support resource planning and budget tracking across assigned programs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, process optimization, and program management best practices.
- Influence organizational strategy and cross-functional alignment through collaboration with executive leadership.
- Ensure coordination and alignment across multiple enterprise programs and initiatives.
- Translate strategic, technical, and financial information into clear, actionable communication for stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and expectations across strategic initiatives.
- Analyze organizational impacts of program decisions and align outcomes with long-term business objectives.
- Navigate ambiguity and drive initiatives to logical and successful conclusions within matrixed organizations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced certifications and/or Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in program management, project management, strategy, operations, or related roles.
- Prior management experience supporting Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives.
- Experience leading enterprise transformation or strategic operations programs.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional enterprise programs.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working within fast-paced and highly matrixed organizations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive reporting skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced program management and strategic planning skills.
- Experience with change management, organizational transformation, and operational risk management.
- Ability to balance short-term execution with long-term strategic planning.
- Strong risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution capabilities.
- Ability to influence organizational strategy and enterprise-level decision-making.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience using program management tools such as Jira, Box, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with the Salesforce platform and ecosystem.
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and navigating cross-functional organizational structures.
