About The Role


As a Senior Program Manager, Push Channels, you'll be key to making our paid advertising efforts run smoothly across channels like Paid Social, Display, Affiliate, and Influencer marketing. You'll work closely with our Marketing, Engineering, and Analytics teams, as well as external partners, to ensure we effectively showcase Etsy's unique products on platforms such as Meta, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, and other social commerce sites.


This role involves planning, coordinating, and tracking important projects to make sure our teams are well-informed and working together efficiently. You'll be a highly influential contributor, using your strategic thinking and ability to navigate unclear situations to guide decisions, communicate clearly with leaders, and build effective structures for our programs.


Etsy’s Push marketing initiatives are critical channels that focus on both low-funnel marketing strategies to support customers towards a purchase, as well as mid-funnel efforts to nurture potential customers as they consider their options. These large-scale, cross-functional initiatives are vital to our company's growth. Be ready to be at the heart of the action and make a significant impact.



Responsibilities


  • Develop and champion the strategic roadmap for paid media initiatives, aligning with broader organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive project plans, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion of initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment on priorities, facilitating trade-off discussions and fostering collective ownership of program outcomes.
  • Own day-to-day cross-team communication, including setting agendas, recording decisions, and distributing meeting recaps.
  • Act as the operational key point of contact for global paid media programs, ensuring a cohesive buyer experience across channels.
  • Identify and resolve interdependencies and points of friction across diverse workstreams.
  • Establish collaboration standards and optimize information flow through RACIs, program calendars, reference materials, and executive summaries.
  • Ensure deadlines are met by following up with stakeholders and flagging potential blockers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain alignment on key initiatives.
  • Build credibility and influence stakeholders across all levels, from C-Suite to individual contributors, to drive program objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic insights and fostering a collaborative environment.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, management, marketing, project management, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in program management, business operations, consulting, or a similar role
  • 7+ years of experience in paid marketing, with hands-on expertise in managing Paid Social, Display, Affiliate, and/or Influencer marketing programs.
  • Proven strategic thinker with a track record of leading complex, large-scale cross-functional marketing initiatives, expertly navigating dependencies and tight deadlines.
  • Expert in project management software such as Monday.com, Jira, Wrike, Workfront, Smartsheet, Asana, Airtable, Basecamp, or Trello, for tracking projects and creating efficient workflows.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and that no nuanced details are overlooked.
  • Strong business acumen to successfully navigate ambiguous and complex situations, reconcile varying opinions, and drive decision-makers to clear, actionable solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to distill complex ideas into clear guidance and communications for cross-functional teams with diverse technical and marketing backgrounds.
  • Passion for continuous learning, staying updated on industry trends, and the latest marketing operations methodologies.
  • Highly proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Slack.
  • Familiarity and comfort utilizing Monday.com



Bonus Points

  • Digital Advertising experience – high-level understanding of online ad platforms like Search Engine Marketing and Facebook or Pinterest ads.
