We are seeking a Senior Project Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is a hybrid setup (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in NYC.
This role is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed successfully, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while managing risks, stakeholders, and resources effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining scope, objectives, timelines, budget, and required resources.
- Manage project execution to ensure activities are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly with stakeholders, including senior management and project sponsors.
- Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure all deliverables meet required quality standards and that processes are followed consistently.
- Handle scope, schedule, and budget changes with proper documentation and approvals.
- Oversee timely and efficient project closure, ensuring all deliverables are complete.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5–10 years of project management experience with full project lifecycle ownership.
- Proven experience managing Finance system projects (e.g., Oracle EBS or SAP).
- Minimum experience with 5 full project lifecycles (preferably with MNCs).
- Experience across global regions including LATAM, EMEA, and NA.
- Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- PMP certification is a plus, but not required.
- Proficient in project management tools and best practices.
- Strong experience engaging with C-level stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and team motivation skills.
- Strong time management and problem-solving capabilities.
- Must be independent and proactive
- Able to take ownership and lead meetings with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a hands-on attitude.
