We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote, must work PST hours. Hybrid at the Sunnyvale, CA location.
This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Revenue. As a Sr. Revenue Analyst, you will engage with a talented and fast-moving group of cross-functional teams daily in support of the order to cash cycle. You will also participate in and support the revenue and AR close process and focus on streamlining all facets of the order to cash business process.

What You'll Do:
- Provide support during the close process, including reconciliation and journal entries related to AR, revenue, and cash-in-transit
- Review and approve sales contracts in Oracle for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
- Provide contract and billing support to business partners and customers
- Partner with Deal Desk, Billing Support, and other cross-functional business partners to advise and resolve revenue operation inquiries and issues
- Assist in driving process improvements related to day-to-day operations and the close process
- Research and resolve variances found in reconciliations
- Provide ad-hoc support for the Revenue Operations team
- BA/BS in accounting, finance or related field
- 4+ years of revenue accounting experience dealing with transaction details,
- Must have revenue, cash-in-transit, order to cash process expereince
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Oracle Financials
- Intermediate Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Table and VLOOKUP)
- Ability to process a high volume of transactions with proficiency, accuracy, and integrity
- Challenges the status quo and seeks process improvement and innovation
- Understands revenue recognition criteria and policies to read and interpret terms and conditions in master agreements and order forms
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Naturally curious and can work independently towards solutions before asking for help
- Drive and initiative to embrace opportunities in enhancing knowledge and skills
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
- Ability work independently as well as cross-functionally on various projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
