Our Customer is an American multinational cybersecurity company with headquarters in Santa Clara, California. Their core products include advanced firewalls and cloud-based offerings that extend those firewalls to cover other aspects of security. We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer - Security Solutions on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role will be on-site in Santa Clara, CA.



Responsibilities:

  • Support go-to-market initiatives for secure access and cloud security solutions within a regional GTM team
  • Own and manage relationships with assigned enterprise clients to ensure satisfaction and achievement of defined success criteria
  • Conduct deep technical discovery to understand customer environments, requirements, and challenges
  • Present complex cybersecurity concepts in a clear, compelling, and easy-to-understand manner to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Build customer success stories and case studies aligned with defined methodologies
  • Partner closely with product and R&D teams to represent customer needs and ensure solutions meet technical and business requirements
  • Drive results in a fast-paced, collaborative, and goal-oriented sales environment
  • Provide first-level technical support and triage for client issues, including creating detailed support tickets
  • Maintain accurate reporting and data-driven decision-making using CRM and reporting tools
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively while meeting deadlines and performance objectives
  • Travel as required to support client engagements and business needs


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a technical or quantitative field
  • 6+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar customer-facing technical role
  • 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity domains such as networking and network security, endpoint protection (EDR/EPP), identity management, or data loss prevention
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
  • Proven experience selling complex enterprise cybersecurity solutions
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
  • Experience conducting technical discovery and aligning solutions to customer needs
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and data-driven decision-making processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities
  • Self-driven, results-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel extensively
