Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA.
This role focuses on understanding end-to-end supply chain planning processes and bridging business needs with technical solutions. The analyst will proactively identify business process gaps and improvement opportunities, collaborating closely with IT and Planning teams to design and implement effective planning solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong supply chain planning expertise, proficiency in planning software implementation cycles, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with supply chain operations and planning teams to gather pain points, use cases, and business needs.
- Define comprehensive business requirements rooted in supply chain planning principles, building strong business cases for applications or features that support operations.
- Identify and implement workflow and process improvements to enhance efficiency, visibility, and scalability.
- Collaborate with IT throughout project lifecycles, enabling new capabilities and managing smaller enhancement projects as business project manager.
- Create and maintain project-related documentation, including Business Process Flows, User Requirement Documents, UAT Test Cases, and training materials.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), user training, and change management to ensure smooth deployment.
- Investigate and resolve system issues and gaps in collaboration with IT and business users, recommending and implementing potential resolutions.
- Support supply chain planning and operations by tracking and analyzing key metrics and data.
- Work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and navigating ambiguity effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst within supply chain or manufacturing domains.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain planning processes and principles.
- Proficiency in planning software implementation cycles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in dynamic environments.
