Job description
Details:
- 100% Remote position
- Full-Time, Permanent
- 5+ years of experience as a licensed CPA being fully in charge of the tax lifecycle of small businesses and individuals (planning, advising, quarterly reports, preparation, reviews, and filing)
- Salary: $110,000
What we do:
Our first product is a tax automation and optimization platform for digital and service-based businesses.
We help creators, angel investors, freelancers and more to streamline, optimize, and file, their business and personal taxes.
You will:
- Define internal tax processes and procedures and ensure they are implemented
- Hire, onboard, train, and manage tax professionals to help build our tax team
- Work closely with our R&D team to assist them in automating and optimizing tax procedures for our proprietary tax software
- Assist in onboarding to clients to our Tax Platform
- Provide customers with ongoing tax advice
- Manage our customers’ tax lifecycle including; planning, advising, quarterly reports, preparation, and filing
We are looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years of experience as a licensed CPA being fully in charge of the tax lifecycle of small businesses and individuals (planning, advising, quarterly reports, preparation, reviews, and filing)
- Experience working with individuals (1040), SP/SMLLC (Schedule C), MMLLC (1065), and S-Corps (1120S) in the following states: CA, FL, NY, TX, and IL.
- Licensed CPA, specializes in taxation
- Tech oriented ? help us develop the next generation of tax technologies!
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Autodidact, continuous learning and improving your tax knowledge and skills
- Ability to work in a tech-oriented, fast pacing startup
- Full professional English proficiency (spoken and written)
