The Mom Project is excited to partner with Sensiba San Filippo (SSF) in their search for a Senior Tax Associate.

Sensiba San Filippo is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join the fast-growing and very highly regarded Venture Capital (“VC”) tax practice group. Our ever-growing Venture Capital tax practice is national in scope, serving primarily early-stage venture fund and related entity clients. For this role, a remote work option is available.
What You'll Do:
- Tax return preparation and review
- Tax research
- Other related duties (i) primarily for venture capital-related partnerships (and LLCs), and also (ii) with substantially less frequency, for C and S corporations
- Client interaction, consisting primarily of phone and e-mail contacts, is definitely a significant contemplated activity and a marvelous growth opportunity for the ideal candidate
- Substantial exposure to U.S. tax reporting requirements applicable to the existence of non-US investments, investors, and entities in investment partnerships
- An anticipated rapid learning curve attributable to the opportunity to work with SSF’s extremely talented VC tax specialists in providing tax compliance and consulting services to our venture clients.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of CPA firm experience in Tax
- Experience with partnership tax is preferred
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- A Master's degree in Taxation or Accountancy is preferred
- A record of high academic achievement
- Experience solving complicated tax issues
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to interact effectively with others within the firm and with a highly credentialed and sophisticated client base
- High level of motivation to learn and to perform excellent work

- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team striving to fulfill periodic deadlines and other client requirements
- CPA, or qualified to take the CPA exam, or Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar
