Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.


We are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.


This position plays a pivotal role in the identification, attraction, and successful placement of top talent for current and future opportunities within one or more business units. This individual is responsible for identifying and promoting sourcing, interviewing and hiring best practices to align with business and customer needs. They drive timelines and promote various hiring initiatives, including diversity talent attraction, recruiting programs, interviewing events, new manager trainings, and strategic pipeline building. The Recruiter is a strategic talent partner and consultant for their customer group.



Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs and define role requirements
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure a smooth and effective recruiting process
  • Advise on staffing best practices, market trends, and hiring strategies
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies using market data and insights
  • Identify and engage both active and passive candidates through multiple channels
  • Utilize networking, referrals, job boards, events, and diversity sourcing strategies to build talent pipelines
  • Drive the timely execution of recruiting processes across multiple requisitions
  • Act as a candidate advocate, ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Use data to influence decisions, improve processes, and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Lead or support process improvement initiatives within recruiting operations
  • Present training and guidance to hiring managers on interviewing and hiring best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align recruiting efforts with business goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within recruiting systems


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across multiple roles and skill sets
  • Proven track record managing high-volume, high-quality recruitment efforts
  • Strong ability to influence stakeholders and drive hiring decisions
  • Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies, including passive candidate engagement
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems or talent management platforms
  • Strong client service mindset with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting in healthcare or medical device industries
  • Experience with Workday, SmartRecruiters, or similar ATS platforms
